Employment background check is but one way for your employer to consider you for the job, however before any application and job hunting happens there’s one concern that can actually influence the result of any employer decision when it comes to getting you hired—you education. Let’s face the fact that in this time of recession most of the job’s for hire are for those who has finished a degree in college. It’s quite different for someone who has completed till the college level—even post graduate.

There’s a trouble however that’s been brewing since then: background screening on how kids think since then shows that there are those who has taken education quite lightly. After finishing high school they begin looking for jobs that would fit their qualifications and would forget getting a degree in college. There’s a need to for such improvements. Here are ways for a person to motivate himself in studying.

1. Keep in mind that learning is continuous.

Even those who have finished a higher degree tend to go for other resources to gain knowledge. We must go with how things change these days and stopping at a certain level of education is making a person stagnant. See the importance first to have that get that goal in finishing a degree.

2. Motivation is the key

Your family is your primary motivation and giving a better life—especially making them a part of it—is your utmost concern. There are chances however that you realize that there are instances you may feel obliged but not motivated to go for a degree. You may be forced to a certain specialization as what is required of you. There’s no stopping you on taking what you want and giving to what your parents want. Go for what you want after you has taken the first degree or maybe do it vice-versa hitting a deal with your folks. The key here is to keep that determination.

3. The availability of finances

The primary hindrance they say is money. In order to pursue a good course you need finances to support it. This is not a problem for a person who is motivated to study even during his high school years. Scholarship grants are within reach. There are even times when working shifts at a coffee shop or diner is a good option in sustaining studies. Schools that may meet your budget are also available; remember that it is the person who makes his own success and not the name of the school.

4. Your interests

The best motivation for any person is when he sees himself excelling at a certain field even in college. A background check on persons who have gotten to college shows that they usually follow their interest where they think they’re good at. See what specialization would make you hooked up. Concentrate in this but keep your study habits intact with other subjects so as to make you more competent.

5. Always have a break

Finishing a degree should not be so serious. Sometimes, having a break like going out in the open and being one with the nature is a good thing to relax your mind and recharge what had been lost. Visiting Mount Mayon is one of the many things you can do to remove stress and have fun.

Yesterday, December 16, 2008, one of our barkada (friend) tied the knot with his girlfriend. The venue of the wedding is in the church of Daraga. Luckily, this site captures the real beauty of mount mayon as the church is located above the city.

The View That Captures My Emotion

Mount Mayon is among the active volcano located in one of the many islands in the Philippines. Its lovely look is only a disguised for its less than 400 recorded eruption in last 300 years.

If you are inside the vicinity of Legazpi City, this majestic view is 15 km northwest and is surrounded by many cities like Camalig, Daraga, Sto. Domingo, Bacacay, Malilipot, and specially Legazpi City.

Aside from seeing the perfect symmetrical volcano, you can also have a glance the buried Cagsawa Church located at Busay, Daraga.

This was taken last August 20,2008 on the second floor of Astillero Bldg using my Sony Ericsson w200i camera phone . It fully captures the beautiful images of mayon volcano.

Is this Another Sign for Mount Mayon?

August 15, 2008 at around 7 o’clock pm in my automatic Seiko timepiece, Legazpi City in the province of Albay and other nearby cities like Guinobatan, Ligao, Camarines Sur and Norte experienced a devastating earthquake. Is this recent earthquake a sign that mount mayon is ready to burn the sky and make day a night? Everyone was shocked that even the “pabayle” (dance on the streets) in our area was stopped due to sudden movement of the ground. All things hanging inside our house moved like they are being swayed back and forth. It was my first instinct to grab my daughter who’s playing around the house and go to a nearest “amba” (the post that surrounds and support a door. Aside from going under the table, I learned about it from seminars that I have been through about earthquake and how to deal with it calmly.

After the big surprised by the tremor, a series of aftershock also takes place. The whole incident last at least 3 to 5 minutes (I think). Luckily, there are no casualties reported and the event was on the news after 20 minutes. And through the advent of communication technologies, the center of the earthquake and its magnitude was recorded in an instant.

According to PHIVOLCS (Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology), the said tremor has a magnitude of 6.0 and its center was the city of Sorsogon. With such occurrence, people in the Bicol region are now thinking and believing that this is a sign of another explosive eruption. Those who are inside the 3 km danger zone of the majestic mount mayon are now frightened as the tragedy happened last 2002 would strike once more.

However, PHIVOLCS said that the eruption may or may not be caused by massive movement of rocks inside the mayon volcano. Further studies will be conducted to know the cause of this tremor.

And early this morning August 16, 2008 at around 6 to 6:30 o’clock in the morning, another mild earthquake was recorded. If this is really a sign that mount mayon is making itself ready for a big explosion. All the people around the majestic mayon volcano including nearby cities should be ready.

Take note that this post is not a prediction or even an explanation of possible occurrences. This is only the point of view from the mount mayon admin and should not be taken as valid report.

The mount mayon is among the best tourist spots you can see when you visit the province of Albay or other cities that comprises the Bicol Region. With it’s magnificent and perfectly cone shape, mayon volcano will surely captivate everyone’s heart that no one will get bored looking at it. But how does this splendid piece become so perfect?

According To Legend

Legend say’s that the Mount Mayon is formed in a landslide causing a man to be buried alive underneath. This man has a niece that is so beautiful, that causes every man to be in love with her. But with the fierce of her uncle, no one dared to get near her. One day, a brave young warrior was so in love with the lady that anything he will do just to be with her. With his will, he walks through the flames of death and cheated death to impress the girl and enticed her to flee with him.

But the ferocious uncle did not stop. The coupled pray to the Gods for help that in an instant causes tremors to the ground creating a landslide and burying the man alive. And whenever the mount mayon erupts, local folks said that it was that anger of the lady’s uncle bursting in the form of eruptions.

According To Studies

Scientific studies shows that the mount mayon was formed in a perfectly cone shape due to varying lava flow and pyroclastic explosion. And with the billion years of existence, over 50 times of eruptions in the past 400 years and even more during its presence, the symmetric cone figure was created.

Classified as among the most active volcano not only in the Philippines but also around the globe. This majestic spot of Legazpi City elevates at 2462 meters or 8077 feet above sea level. And if you want to reach the top of the volcano, you will need to deal with at least 35 or 40 degrees of steepness.
